Welcome to Flip Cycle.
Since May 2011 I have been braving the streets of Metro Manila pedaling my way to work everyday and basically have turned my folding bike into a car. Why? Because I can, I care, and I believe that cycling can help save the world.
As a self-proclaimed environmentalist, writing songs about the environment, being a vegetarian, and quitting smoking was never enough for me. I knew I could do more. After joining my first Tour of the Firefly, lead by Firefly Brigade in April 2011, it made me look at cycling in a different way. It made me realize how it can help reduce local air pollution and consequently, the effects of climate change. After that ride I decided to incorporate cycling in my life.
Flip Cycle is a photo blog that features documentary photos of FASHION IN MOTION. Cyclists in their everyday clothes who choose to ride in style rather than the usual cycling jersey and cycling shorts.
Flip Cycle aims to promote the use of bicycle as an alternative mode of transportation. More than just a sport, cycling plays a vital role in increasing the quality of life in the city.
